To Claude Villette
The best I ever met.
Will you be my Valentine
My darling Vettie boy?
Then life will be all sunshine,
And you will be my joy.
We'll have some jolly times I know,
For I will always be
As happy as a lark to go
With you o'er land or sea.
We'll fight life's battles one by one,
Share every little sorrow,
And think of all the merry fun
We'll then have on the morrow.
With best love from me
Your own Katherine T. B.
